Answers From Heaven by Theresa Cheung and Claire Broad - Blog Tour Review

Something a little different on Life Of A Nerdish Mum as I review Answers From Heaven by Theresa Cheung and Claire Broad. Thank you very much to Kim Nash for providing me a copy.

Answers from Heaven: Incredible True Stories of Heavenly Encounters and the Afterlife

Answers from Heaven will be an authoritative, modern up to date classic book about afterlife communication.
Through true life stories of ordinary people who have had paranormal experiences, bestselling author Theresa Cheung and medium Claire Broad will show the various different ways that heaven is trying to answer our prayers, offer us comfort and provide proof of survival.
Chapters include:
1. Messages from the other side
2. Dreams from heaven
3. Living and loving creatures in spirit
4. Love from above
5. Heaven is calling
6. Conversations from Spirit
7. Answers from higher realms
8. Is anybody there?
9. Your own answers from heaven.
By the end it is hoped that readers will have lost some of their fear of death, be more aware of when the spirit world is trying to contact them, have greater awareness of the scientific research available, understand that mediumship is an expression of eternal love and nothing to be feared and that it's possible for us all to ask questions and receive answers from the world of spirit.

My Review

Without getting into my own spirituality or beliefs too much, before I get into my review I thought it would be fair to explain that I went into reading this with an open mind. I do believe in something I just can't put a name or explanation to it.

I really enjoyed how the book was written and was split between the two authors instead of combining them into just one voice. It gave Theresa Cheung the chance to explain things from someone who is fascinated by spirituality and mediumship and for Claire Broad to explain things from a more professional side.

Both authors shared their own experiences with the spirit world as well as stories from other people. These stories were both touching and moving and brought me to tears at points. The stories don't just cover human spirits, but animal spirits too which I thought was really lovely.

Answers From Heaven can be read all at once, or you can choose to pick it up and put it down at your leisure, reading whichever chapter calls to you at the time. Even if you aren't a believer, the book is extremely well written and is an interesting look at why and what people believe in. If you are a believer, then this book will speak to you and you will know there are other people who have experienced the things you have out there. There are also helpful facts from Claire Broad explaining how to get a genuine reading if that is something that you are interested in.

Overall an extremely interesting book and one I am glad to have read. It hasn't changed my own thoughts or my beliefs, but it has reinforced my thought that belief or faith in something, as long as it isn't harmful in any way, can be beneficial to some people. I'd definitely recommend you give this book a try no matter whether you believe or not.
